Drowning in nursing home fees, the last remaining survivor of the Titanic has found herself rescued by Titanic stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Aided by the film’s director, James Cameron, the trio forked over $30,000 to help Millivina Dean pay her nursing home fees. At the ripe old age of 98, Dean was only nine months old when she survived the ship’s crash.
It was photographer Don Mullan who first raised awareness about Millivina’s dire situation and he’s still waiting to hear back from Celine Dion. We’re sure she’ll do something to ensure Millivina’s heart will go on.
