Lindsay Lohan left UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica today (June 8th) after her Porsche rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway around 11:30 a.m. Lohan, according to TMZ, was on her way to film Lifetime’s biopic, Liz & Dick when she went “smash” right into the big ole truck.
Sources told the celebrity news site that the Porsche was a rental, and that Lohan claimed the accident was not her fault; the 18-wheeler cut her off. Lohan and her assistant were bruised and bleeding when authorities arrived at the scene, and while the assistant was taken to the hospital via ambulance, Lohan was driven separately.
Lohan left UCLA Medical Center in an SUV to resume shooting. ”She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution,” the star’s rep told People. “She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident.”
