Keeping in the spirit of all things New York, Lindsay Lohan dressed in head-to-toe black while taking a stroll yesterday (September 21st).  Lohan cinched her sweater dress with a Chanel belt and wore Walter Steiger‘s “Oscar” booties, the $850, safer version of Alexander McQueen‘s “Claw Shoes” that caused Lady Gaga to take a tumble, according to the Daily Mail.

Carrying a tweed-lined Chanel jacket, Lohan puffed on her cancer stick while tales of her Fashion Week faux pas are losing steam.  Lohan was asked to leave a Marc Jacobs event at the Dream Downtown hotel last week, and then allegedly threw a glass at a V Magazine photographer who was snapping pics for a spread in the mag.  “She threw drinks and glasses to me as we tried to take a shot for @vmagazine,” tweeted the photog.
