Lindsay Lohan Escapes From Racist Lip Slip To England

November 12th, 2008 // 3 Comments

Here’s Lindsay Lohan and her personal cigarette holder Samantha Ronson arriving in London, England. Samantha is scheduled to spin a London’s Chinawhite club and, per usual, Lohan accompanies her for support. “Support” meaning to bob her head now and then, smoke, and scream at other women to leave her chick alone. Plus, it’s a club with a name that evokes snorting the yay so don’t act surprised that Linds wants in (despite lessons learned).

There could be another reason for why Lohan skipped out on North America. She recently made some sort of mumbled reference to President Elect Barack Obama as our “first colored president” in an interview with that hair model from Access Hollywood.

Now it could have been that she was nervous and twisted our “first president of color” around or she hadn’t had her morning perk pill regimen (she looked a trifle rugged in the interview) and it was a weird, just-woke-up slip. But that’s more than enough reason to flee the country in shame. You’d be wearing dark glasses and a cloak over your head, too, then.

Umm….China White has nothing to do with cocaine. It’s definitely a heroine reference. Cocaine has never come from China, whereas heroine is the norm for most Asian drug producers. China White was brand-name heroine in the past, now it is just a term.

Um..colored is not a racist term, it is antiquited and outdated(the polite way of saying black in the 50-60) but not racist. The NAACP actually came to her defense and said that the word is not racist and that it is no big deal. And for the record Obama identifies as mixed race/biracial. It’s possible that La lohan confused the pc term people of color with the less pc colored. As a black man i have to stay : stop beating on the girl she has been a vocal supporter for Obama and was clearly elated at his election. She clearly meant no malice. If you actually wanna go after racist remarks and make a difference than go after the ones that actually deserve it.

Umm…you ask any black person in the U.S. that was born from the 1920s on if it isn’t a racist term. That word has a history of segregation and dehumanization behind it in the U.S.
