By moving out of her apartment located in the notorious party-friendly Sierra Towers complex in Los Angeles, Lindsay Lohan is taking a very important step towards extracting herself from the party lifestyle she enjoyed prior to her current stint in rehab. Sierra Towers has housed a number of big Hollywood names in the past and present, including Cher, PJ Harvey, Sidney Poitier, Fred Durst, Joan Collins and Vincent Gallo, just to name a few.

“The Sierra Towers is party central,” says an insider. “Lindsay has made the decision not to be around that when she gets out.”

Oh, Sierra Towers. I remember that one kegger there, where Sidney Poitier and Fred Durst challenged Cher to a keg stand in the middle of the afternoon. They kept chanting, “Chug! Chug! Chug!” over and over again until Cher finally relented and agreed to do it, even though she was wearing a skirt. Those were the days. The days I just made up.
