Her acting career seems to have hit a plateau at the moment, so it’s surprising to find out that Lindsay Lohan turned down a role in The Hangover. The freckled starlet was being considered for the role that ended up going to Heather Graham.
After much convincing from her agent, the director of the film, Todd Phillips agreed to consider Lohan for the part. A source said to Us Weekly that “when [Phillips] finally agreed, Lindsay said she didn’t like the script.”
It’s probably for the best, actually. Even though it’s a summer blockbuster, the last thing Lindsay needs is yet another reason for her name to be associated with binge drinking. However, it looks like she’s consoling herself with a shopping excursion to a jewelry store in West Hollywood nonetheless.
