Lindsay Lohan is suing E*Trade for $100 million for a commercial that features a “milk-a-holic” baby named Lindsay and the battle has only gotten nastier. Apparently, it has now been discovered that a copy of Esquire with an interview by the problem-ridden star was present while the script was being written. And, gasp! They changed the name from Deborah to Lindsay! Of course they mean you, Lohan, because it’s all about you! Even E*Trade commercials directed at people interested in trading and finance…you know, not your fan base exactly.
Her lawyer Stephanie Ovadia said that “though Lindsay is a popular girl’s name, when you
say it on television for advertising purposes, it’s identifiable as
Lindsay Lohan.”
But I mean, hey: Lindsay really needs that money. She turned up leaving a hotel in Paris, France yesterday and needs to pay for all that jet-setting (read: not working) somehow!
