Lauren Hutton interviewed notorious wild child and a now possibly single Lindsay Lohan for Interview magazine. Hutton sympathized with the 20-something actress, while they discussed Lindsay’s relationship with the paparazzi, the pre-conceived notion that she is a fame-hungry celebrity (Lohan claims she isn’t) and how these misconceptions have hurt her acting career.
While discussing her frustrations with the direction her film opportunities have taken, Lindsay revealed why she probably scribbled those dirty little words in a public stall so many years ago, disparaging Scarlett Johansson.
“But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life.”
It’s OK to be jealous, girl. We know we are.
