It’s an older, wiser Lindsay Lohan who just left the polling place in these pictures yesterday, if we are to believe what the freckled starlet told Extra.

“I’ve learned my lesson at an early age and I am very thankful for that,” the Barack Obama supporter said of her hard-partying past as a young tween that had her popping in and out of rehab facilities.

Now, it’s activities like voting (as you can see here), enjoying a quiet night in front of the television while dining on some Chinese takeout with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson that fill Lindsay’s day planner.

The starlet said, “There’s nothing that I really have to go out anymore for. I’m out with Samantha when she’s deejaying and I’m supporting her.”
