The National Enquirer is reporting that Lohan’s liver is about to call it a day due to her booze love.
The Enquirer has uncovered the Real story behind Lindsay’s recent emergency appendectomy on Jan. 4.
“The appendectomy was routine, but what doctors discovered in her blood work was not,” a source close to the actress told The Enquirer.
“Lindsay’s liver panel shows her drinking is taking a terrible toll on her health. Her liver enzymes are extremely elevated, and doctors warned her if she doesn’t quit boozing she could die!”
The high levels of two particular liver enzymes indicate that some of Lindsay’s liver cells are damaged and are leaking these enzymes into her blood.
Well, I guess she’ll be ok now that she’s not drinking anymore (Lindsay Still Drinking). Err…..
This Enquirer article is playin on perceptions. Most people booze as hard if not harder at her age while at Uni. I know I did.
I can’t wait to see how this pans out. First off, I’m not sure how they released her LFTs and lipid panels- that seems kinda like a HIPAA violation to me, but I loathe her so it’s ok. In my job as a psychiatric RN I see lots of people who end up with wet brain- that’s not the technical term but it sums it up. They get totally disoriented, run around with their clothes off, smear feces on the wall, and get violent. Plus their brains look “off” in scans. We’ve got one patient who is 47 years old who is in Long Term Care- a nursing home at 47 thanks to his drinking. I suggest she start taking Remeron or something now, or we’ll be subjected to worse missives than adequite. Ha. I can’t stand her. Though I’m kind of impressed that she’s managed to fuck up her liver bad enough to throw the enzymes off that badly at such a young age. I guess when she goes for something, she really goes for it.
