It probably isn’t 100% fair of us cats to hiss, claw and cackle at Gisele Bundchen when she says a funny.
Gisele can speak English, sure, just not super-duper, crazy well. Sometimes she blurts out these Borat-type of quotes that are just too good to let go. For example, Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s baby is “100 percent” mine.
Gisele told Vanity Fair (to which she graces the May cover) that while she logically gets that James Moynahan (MOYNAHAN! we still love that) technically entered into the world through Bridget’s birth canal, she still feels James is hers.
“I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not
like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it
is, 100 percent. I want him to have a great relationship with his mom,
because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were
mine.”
And while a new flame with a freshly sperminated baby mama lurking in the wings may have scared away most, Gisele says it wasn’t that big of a deal. Just a little annoying surprise. Sort of like finding out your new man snores or something.
“In the beginning you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re
thinking, ‘This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops–wake-up
call!…[But standing by Brady as they figured things out] was a blessing,
because otherwise I don’t think I would have known what he was made of,
and he wouldn’t have known what I was made of.”
Well, Gisele, Bridget Moynahan will soon find out what you’re “made of” once she catches wind of this cute little quote.

Call me crazy.. but with all the unwanted kids in the world and all the horror stories about stepparents, I applaud her for feeling this little boy is like her own. Like it or not, she will fulfill the role of a mother (if only part-time) and everyone benefits from her 100% accepting and loving this child.
What a world we live in when loving someone has become “newsworthy” as unusual.

Gisele totally disrespected Bridget. She can love her STEP-SON, but she will and should never act as if that baby is hers. She totally stepped over the line as a STEP-PARENT. I should know, as I am step-mom to 2 beautiful boys. They have a loving mother AND a loving step-mom.

I agree, Giselle should not be commenting about someone else’s child. She is only the step parent. It is good she loves this baby, but he is not hers. He has parents.

This site gives me a laugh. It’s always getting people’s names wrong. James is written in the artical but then below in Gallery Info it says John (which I believe is his correct name). I don’t usually correct the person who writes the blogs but I just find it funny that it happens so often is all.

Do any of these people who say she’s never met the baby’s mother have a life outside of following Giselle around day and night, wherever she goes? Obviously that would be the ONLY way you could know for sure if they’ve met or not.
To comment on the stepparent – shame on you. I too am a stepparent, and I refer to them as my kids. I take pride in their accomplishments and I feel sorrow when they are hurting. Do I know that they have a mom, and that they’re not “my” kids? Of course I do! As I am sure Giselle does. That does not mean I love them any less or feel any less involved in their lives.
Either way I’m sure she can’t win this one. In celeb lives the choices would be “wicked stepmother” or “crazed bitch trying to steal the baby from his bio mom”.

The article states that they have never met. The problem is with the dismissive language she uses, like Bridget was a surrorgate. She just “delivered” it. She wants him to have a good relationship with his mother. Gee, thanks Gisele. Mighty big of you. She never even uses Bridget’s name. Weird!

Mr. Brady had better remember that visitation/custody is for the parent… not the step-parent.. I don’t seem to notice “Dad” in any of the pictures. He’d better man-up and get that leash out of his nose or he may end up in a “legal upheaval.”

I have noticed that every picture posted of you,
with Gisele is not a very good photagraph of you??? Bridget, bring out the hardware love. Put the chile pepper in her place! She’s not the only one who can wear Victoria Secret underwear! You are a good mother. Lucky for Tom if his game doen’t pick up, Gisele’s 70 million will pick up the slack. Cute girl with backbone! Remember that.
