Lynne Spears, promoting her memoir Through The Storm, appeared via satellite from New Orleans on a British television program and proclaimed her daughter Britney to be a “wonderful mother.”
“Oh she’s a wonderful mother – she’s funny, she’s extremely
affectionate,” Lynn said about Brit’s sons, of whom she doesn’t have custody. “[At] home, where there’s nobody around, she’s very normal.”
Britney has undergone a back-from-the-brink comeback, and is currently promoting her new album, Circus, in Europe. It comes out here in the States on Tuesday. Soon we’ll be bopping around in our cars to more of Brit’s breathy electro-pop. You say she’s crazy? She’s got your crazy. Or she used to. And how did she ditch that crazy (even though it’s left her a little dissatisfied)?
“With a lot of love and care and help,” her mom said. “Sometimes you have to just settle
down. You have to stop, think. And there’s a lot of people that care
about Britney and love Britney – and Britney’s doing great now.”
