Mom Spears told Newsweek that she feels the public is hypocritical for giving her teenage daughter Jamie Lynn Spears flack over her pregnancy, while being fine with vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin‘s daughter Bristol‘s. I’m not ok with Bristol’s pregnancy! The dude who knocked her up describes himself as a “f*ckin’ redneck.” Who wants that over at Christmas?
“Every woman in the world has applauded her strength and her
convictions and poor little old Jamie Lynn, you saw how she was
crucified – everybody did, firsthand,” Lynne said. “I just feel like
it’s been a very hypocritical situation.”
Crucified? Damn, she got a magazine cover out of it! Momma had her throw herself on that “cross!” Lynne Spears is a wily fox. Put HER up for vice-president.
Rachael Ray needs to throw some EVOO on her ass and call it a day.

I can’t believe I’m going to agree with this Lynne Spears! But it is quite true that the media completely admonished her daughter and her because of Jamie’s pregnancy. And to say that Jamie and Bristol cannot be compared is right. One girl had a silly t.v. show that only kids with cable t.v. watch, and the other is a daughter of a Vice-Presidential candidate in the most watched and talked about Presidential election of our lifetime. And this is a Vice-Presidential candidate who spouts ideas about family values and morals and who is anti-sex education and condom use. Yes, I would say that Bristol’s pregnancy deserved way more scrutiny than Jamie’s. Shame on the media.

Jamie Spears was constantly in the teen public eye. You think that TV show is silly, but the millions of teens who watched it do not. Here is a role model, sadly, for these girls. Lynne Spears already had a daughter who was disturbed and messed up. Yet, she lets her youngest daughter’s boyfriend stay over and practically live with them. Did she not see potential trouble?
No one knew who Bristol Palin was before this – no one. She is no one’s role model, and she pretty much stays out of the public eye. I am not a Republican by any stretch, but I am stunned that you can’t see the difference.
