In an extremely rare incident, PETA accuses a celebrity (in this case Madonna) of contributing to the murder of dozens of animals by wearing a fur coat. From StarPulse:

PETA spokesperson Karen Chisholm says, “Wearing a coat made of dozens of animals who were strangled or anally electrocuted got Madonna the attention she so desperately craves, but it also brought painful deaths to small, gentle animals who died for her vanity. It can take between 30 and 200 chinchillas to make just one coat.”
