Madonna and her celebrity sunglasses hit up the village of her adopted son, David, in Malawi. Guy Ritchie decided to stay at home whilst Madonna took her visit back to Africa. I’m not sure if Rocco stayed home, or if he’s just chilling in the limo while Mom, David and Lourdes hit up the Children at the Home of Hope orphanage in the village of Mchinji, cause I don’t see him in any of these pics. According to the The Daily Mail:
Teenage students in black and yellow uniforms from the secondary school at the Mchinji Home of Hope orphanage hurled stones at cars and formed a protective ring around the building.
Apparently seeking to fulfill the orphanage’s pledge that one-year-old David Banda’s visit with his father would be private, police forced the journalists back, preventing them from following Madonna’s convoy into the compound.
I love that Madonna is kicking it, cool-Mom-style, in an Ed Hardy long-sleeve t-shirt, and sunglasses that are assuredly more expensive than my car, but is rocking a fanny-pack. That is her signature look!
