Ever the working girl, Madonna spent her 51st birthday on stage in Warsaw, Poland as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour. However, the pop singer found that mixed in among cheers from her fans was a select group of religious locals protesting her concert.
They were furious with the singer for performing on the day marking the Virgin Mary’s ascension to heaven and were none too pleased with controversial pop star’s performance. But from the sound of the audience singing her “Happy Birthday,” it probably didn’t bother her too much.
Taking her party train to Italy, Madge celebrated with a holiday to Italy to visit her pals Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce. Bringing her family in tow, she’s enjoying her vacation and probably only worked out a paltry 3 hours to celebrate.
