Madonna Still Defending Adoption

From E! Online:

The “Express Yourself” purveyor said in an interview with Meredith Vieira scheduled to air Wednesday and Thursday on the Today show that the public’s reaction to her decision to adopt a 13-month-old Malawian child is a depressing indicator of the overall state of the world. “With all the chaos, pain and suffering in the world, the fact that my adoption of a child…who was living in an orphanage, you know, was the number one story for a week in the world,” Madonna said. “To me, that says more about our inability to focus on the real problems. And our desires to have distractions and to be consumed with people’s personal lives and gossip.”

Well, don’t look at me. You’re the one READING this.

Ugh, I hate this woman and I can’t stand that I contributed to her wealth in my younger days. If she did not want media coverage, then why did she go to another continent to BUY a baby? She could have adopted one in the U.S. or in England for free and saved herself alot of the scrutiny. Furthermore, if she doesn’t want people to talk about this adoption so much, then she should stop going on every effin’ talk show and news program. What’s next… Larry King Live? A Public Service Announcement?
