Despite the fact that she was soundly denied by the Malawi government in her attempt to adopt little girl Mercy James, Madonna is still pushing forward with her appeal.
Addressing the issue in a local newspaper in Malawi, Madge said, “I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and healthcare possible. And it’s my hope that she like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country.”
Malawi don’t preach, she’s made up her mind. She’s keepin’ her baby.

I hope she is successful–me thinks Madonna and her kids have already bonded with the child and gone to great efforts to have her in the family. Look at David–he seems to be doing very well and even Guy Ritchie says that Madge is a great mum.

J Harvey now writes for Celebuzz. It’s a real crap website so I have no idea why you would move from here to there.
Anyway, I agree with other people who say why can’t Madonna adopt someone from her own country? Probably because she won’t get as much attention. It’s more fashionable to adopt a child from a foreign country it seems.
