Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Leon Wants To Be An Actress

January 4th, 2009 // 38 Comments

14-year-old Lourdes Leon has enrolled at the New York drama school made famous by Macaulay Culkin, Scarlett Johansson and Sarah Jessica Parker.

According to a Daily Mail source, “Lourdes is desperate to become an actress and has joined Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School. She is determined to prove herself and plans to throw herself into studying the technique.”

Lourdes was approached a year ago to appear in the movie The Secret Life Of Bees – but turned down the part because Madonna didn’t want her getting into the business so young. Hopefully she’ll acquire the skills to act, because we all know they aren’t in her genes.

Check out all the photos of Lourdes Leon and Madonna in the gallery!

Ok, Madonna, Lourdes is 14 now, hello, either take her to a salon or give her some tweezers and bleach. That is the age my unibrow was eliminated, the mustache a little later….

  2. leoww | January 4, 2009 at 1:36 pm

OMG, Madonna looks soooooo old in these pictures!

  3. Orion | January 4, 2009 at 1:48 pm

Are those massive cheek implants making her face look so oddly skeletal, yet rubbery?

  4. Anne Arkham | January 4, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I heard she’s starring in “Frieda Kahlo: The Early Years”.

  5. lachica | January 4, 2009 at 3:21 pm

the uni-brow wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t accentuated with that thing on her forehead.

how pathetic is it that her mother refused to allow her to look better? how much might this mother envy her daughter’s youth?

  6. therealdana | January 4, 2009 at 4:19 pm

    She’s only 12. She was born 10/14/96.

  7. Roadwork | January 4, 2009 at 5:38 pm

Give me a fucking break, you people are pathetic. Lourdes is beautiful, and most of you people over pluck your eyebrows anyway, never to grow them back.

  8. milky | January 4, 2009 at 5:56 pm

    agreed.

now, what to do about that 5 o’clock shadow?

  9. Michele in Ohio | January 4, 2009 at 8:56 pm

I wondered when someone was going to comment on all that facial hair. God help her.

  10. KL | January 4, 2009 at 9:08 pm

She just turned 12 in Oct. And she’s gorgeous. She can mess with her face in an all too little while. Give her a break.

I’d like inform you that Scarlett Johansson (actress)actually is a clone from original person, who has nothing with acting career.Clone was created illegally using stolen biomaterial.Original Scarlett Galabekian last name is nice, CHRISTIAN young lady.I’ll tell more, those clones(it’s not only 1)made in GERMANY-world leader manufacturer of humans clones,it’s in Ludwigshafen am Rhein,Rhineland-Palatinate,Mr.Helmut Kohl home town. You can’t even imaging the scale of the cloning activity. But warning,H.Kohl staff strictly controlling their clones spreading around the world, they’re NAZI type disciplined and mind controlled,be careful get close with clones you will be controlled too.Original family didn’t authorize any activity with stolen biomaterials,no matter what form it was created in,it’s all need to be back to original family control in Cedars-Sinai MedicalCenter in LA.Controlling clones is US military operation.Original Scarlett never was engaged,by the way

It’s already been said. Yet, I have to add my shock. The uni-brow is one thing. It’s kind of cute. But the upper lip and chin dark facial hair – gotta go. Take her to the salon! She must be getting teased at school, at least behind her back. And she is not “beautiful”. She is average attractive. If you did not know she was Madonna’s daughter, you would not say she is beautiful.

  13. suzanne | January 5, 2009 at 4:06 am

She’ll be able to play male roles, too, with all that facial hair!

  14. forreal | January 5, 2009 at 7:04 am

Let the kid be a kid for chissakes. She’s only 12.

I think Madonna’s right not to doll her up (now that would be trashy and self-serving). This girl will likely grow into a total swan.

  15. radgirldiana | January 5, 2009 at 7:26 am

It’s okay for a girl who is 12 years old to have waxing or bleach for very visible facial hair if she chooses. My guess is Madonna won’t allow it, she seems way controlling. Poor Lourdes is just average looking but the facial hair is freakish. yuck…

  16. Jane Pitt | January 5, 2009 at 7:44 am

That hair is ridiculous. If she wants to become an actress she’d better get used to it. She needs to be waxed. There is no sense in looking like the bearded girl in a freak show. Madonna probably does this to exert control over the child.

  17. wickerorchid | January 5, 2009 at 10:21 am

I know the kids are supposed to be off limits. But that moustache and beard must seriously make that child a target for ridicule with other kids. If she’s allowed around other kids. Parents have a responsibility to not let their kids be the smelly kid, or the shabbily dressed kid, or the buck toothed kid, etc. To allow that child to go around looking like bat boy is just not cool. I mean Rumer Willis chin – not much to be done there. But the facial hair is so easy to care for. And since she directs the kids not to have candy, nonkaballah water, etc. we know that old hag isn’t of the “oh let the kids be kids” mindest.

  18. wolf5150 | January 5, 2009 at 3:06 pm

There has got to be some happy medium between dolling her up (ala JonBenet Ramsay)
and letting her walk around like one of the Geico cavemen from that commercial.Little girls grow up at different speeds, she should get that thing waxed before she starts to look like that
    scary sasquatch Kardashian sister.

  19. Victoria | January 5, 2009 at 3:22 pm

she actually only 12…freshly 12 at that…leave the poor girl alone

  20. cbenji | January 6, 2009 at 5:12 pm

hello? it is entirely possible that Lourdes doesn’t *WANT* to wax. anybody ever consider that? i have a friend with a massive unibrow who refuses to pluck or wax. it looks awful but she loves it for some reason. besides, seems like madonna would be the first one to prod her kid into waxing. maybe Lourdes is just exerting her own individuality.

  21. cbenji | January 6, 2009 at 5:17 pm

PS> Serge, the black helicopters are outside waiting to refill your psych meds prescription.

  22. elle92 | February 27, 2009 at 5:55 pm

Lourdes looks just like her Mom, if you ask me. And Madonna is not jealous of her child. She’s AFRAID for her child.

Think about who’s child Lourdes is.
Done? OK. You can only imagine the pitfalls that await Madonna’s kid.

Lindsay, Paris, Nicole…THINK ABOUT IT and tell me if Madonna isn’t a good Mom to keep a watchful eye on her girl

  23. JoAnn | March 21, 2009 at 1:47 pm

OMG — I hope the “Lourdes Bashers” are children. I would hope that the “grown ups” have at least some form of a life so they would not have to sit and insult an innocent 12 year old girl on the internet. Sounds to me there is a lot of jealousy going on, but, it should not be aimed at a child. GET A LIFE AND LEAVE THE KID ALONE. She is naturally beautiful and when she’s older, which she has plenty of time until, she can wax or bleach or whatever. But for now she is age appropriate SO LEAVE HER ALONE. JEALOUSY CREATES MONSTERS, WHICH I HAVE SEEN HERE FIRST HAND

  24. Mia | March 27, 2009 at 10:14 am

She needs to be checked by a doctor. I used to look exactly like that, and it turned out I had a disease. Plus, no high/middle school is THAT understanding. The girl is going to come home crying every night.

And, she will never get a film role if she looks, and continues looking like that.

  25. chloe | May 17, 2009 at 11:26 pm

she is really beautiful anyway her facial hair stands out because she has beautifully natural brown hair and she is half something.

  26. Lara | June 12, 2009 at 3:15 pm

okay yes she may need to pluck her eyebrows & wax her mostache
but seriously what has it got to do with you ?
maybe she likes it like that ?
she only 12, give her a couple of years !

OMG!!! I can’t believe the vicious comments made by some of you. She is a 14 year old child. Since when do children wax? I think Madonna is doing a great job as a parent. Lola is beautiful and should not obsess about her looks so soon. She has her whole adult life for that. AND SHAME ON YOU FOR ATTACKING THAT BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL!!!!!!!

  31. Eddie D. | September 3, 2009 at 4:22 am

You people are all retarded…these pictures are obviously digitally altered – and not well I might add; you don’t have to be a genius to see that. How sad that socialitelife.com is altering the face of a 12 year old girl to make her look ugly all for a few bucks. C’mon folks, let’s get it together.

  32. Crystal | September 3, 2009 at 8:45 am

Lourdes is not 14…she will be 13 this October.

  33. Lana | September 18, 2009 at 10:49 pm

ok so lourdes is a pretty girl but she really needs to ditch the eyebrowls im sorry but its true dont get me wrong i know i dye my hair and pluck my eyebrowls and im 13 so why shouldnt she… btw i heart sam adams

  34. eleni | January 12, 2010 at 12:51 am

Ok…Despite the fact that Lourdes is almost 14 now,is this a criterion(canon) for not waxing her moustache? No matter how old a girl is,if she has hair problems, she deals with it,Of course I don’t speak for very young kids, let’s say 9-10-11 years old,or 12 at least.(Even tough if I was Lourdes,I would waxed my moustache at least, because it’s so obvious! :P ) But when she is a teenager anymore and is 13-14 ,you don’t stay with that.Anyway,we don’t have to speak anymore for that, because if you can see,see took all of her facial hair now!!!So….Good job for her!!
P.S. I Like her style soooo much!Well done Lourdes! You are a little fashionista!!! :DD

  35. Steph | February 24, 2010 at 5:32 pm

I don’t know what’s worse.. the people bashing her for her facial hair, which it is not her fault she is half Cuban and has naturally dark body hair.. or the people who defend her so much so they are using personal nicknames as though they know her. Scary. Her facial hair is not an issue either way but if she wants an acting career.. it will have to come off eventually.

  36. Sam | September 29, 2010 at 3:58 pm

That is a strange unibrow. Most unibrows grow horizontally across the eyebrow area. Her’s makes more of a V-shape.
