Stepping out onto the red carpet for the premiere of her film Filth and Wisdom, Madonna donned a pair of shoes that were right on target. The pop star turned film director flashed a pair of Chanel platform shoes with tiny guns holding up her feet.

Karl Lagerfeld was taken with the image of a gun and passed the idea along to shoe designer for the label Laurence Decade, who created the fiery footwear. I’m going to predict Angelina Jolie orders at least 5 pairs of these in varying shades of black–but with bullets.

The 50-year-old singer managed to steal the limelight on the red carpet from the young attendees who included Lindsay Lohan with her Darryl Hannah from Splash hair and a short black dress, sketchy Taylor Momsen and some more young, nubile members of the Gossip Girl gang.

And underneath all that hair is Michael Imperioli…lurking.
