Madonna’s Love Life For Sale

Hey! Do you wanna know what Madonna said to her boyfriend in 1993? You do? Well good because now you can! Gotta Have It!, a New York based memorabilia company, is auctioning off tapes of erotic phone messages from Madge to then boyfriend Jim Albright, as well as an intimate video and 21 love letters they faxed to each other from 1992 to 1994.

A tape of Madonna’s 17 minute phone message is expected to sell for about $40,000, which comes out to more that $2,000 a minute, and is something no one should every spend on a piece of tape.

The best part of Madonna’s collection seems to be the letters though. Those are highly entertaining. She writes about shoot that the photographer had “pathetic camera work” but “my booty looked good and you should see how good it looks in person.” I’m sure Jim, her bodyguard-turned-boyfriend, loved it. “It would be sooooo nice,” she also wrote to Jim, if he were to “send me a fax. I’ll be in my bed waiting for you.” Hmm… wonder if Madonna is busy sending letters like this to Jesus Luz? The two of them are pretty cozy together.

Although not as exciting as tapes, letters, and videos, Madonna’s famous white lace bustier from the Like a Virgin tour is also up for sale. Here’s what you can do: buy the bustier and purchase the letters, then sit in your house wearing the former and reading the latter while listening to your Madonna greatest hits album. Sounds like a plan! If this does tickle your fancy, these items, plus other awesome memorabilia, are on display online at www.gottahaverockandroll.com.
