Madonna’s Tribute To Michael Jackson

July 5th, 2009 // Leave a Comment

Madonna took the stage at O2 arena in London where Michael Jackson was to perform in a couple weeks. She thought fitting to pay tribute to the artist.

During Madonna’s performance of “Holiday,” a Michael Jackson impersonator came onstage, wearing a sequin-embellished jacket, white glove, white socks and a white T-shirt, while an image of a young Jackson was projected in the background.

The impersonator then moonwalked to Jackson’s “Wanna Be Starting Something.”

After Madonna shouted, “Let’s give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known,” she and her dancers donned jeweled gloves on their right hands to honor Jackson in their last dance.
