Fisher-Price has teamed up with The Dark Knight actress Maggie Gyllenhaal to kick off the launch of the Precious Planet Collection at the Central Park Zoo’s Amphibian Room.
The actress helped launch the line of baby toys and accessories at the same time as Fisher-Price made a donation of $250,000 to the Wildlife Conservation Society.
“I think it’s important to show them how we can and how we must co-exist. They are learning to respect the planet,” the actress said of the event.
Is the stuff biodegradable? I don’t get how making more plastic items for people to buy–monetary donations aside–is supposed to help the environment, but whatever.
