Marc Jacobs Says No To Celebrities

Sometimes, even for celebrities, life’s not fair. Marc Jacob‘s business partner Robert Duffy said the fall/winter Marc Jacobs fashion show next week will be restricted to celebrities (except you know, fashion editors, bloggers and models who are just as famous).

Duffy tells Style.com, “I’m not into the celebrity thing or anything, like we used to do. You
know, it’s like, that’s boring. People used to want to come to our
shows because of that, and we’ve sort of cut that out the last two
seasons just because it was boring.”

I will be the first to say that Lady Gaga showing up looking like a tranny-biker grandma was not in the least boring last fall. Gaga squeezed past the celebrity exception from the show because she was performing at the after party. However, the same cannot be said for Madonna, who if she shows up again unannounced to the show with some toddler on her arm, I think ” yawn” would make an appropriate response.

The rumored to be married Jacobs was photographed with Lorenzo Martone shopping in St. Barth on New Year’s Eve.

“So the one in the dress in the woman, right?” Is that the reaction you’re hoping for, Marc? Eech, I’m gay and even I’m repulsed at fags like Marc Jacobs.
