Coming on to the stage about 1 minute and 42 seconds into her performance at Rockefeller Center last night (September 5th), Mariah Carey wore a gold mini with all the trimmings to announce her arrival on stage for the 2012 NFL Kick-Off Concert.

Before she stepped out, Cee Lo Green opened her latest single, “Triumphant,” from a gold throne.  The Voice makes nice with American Idol.  I dig it.

The dancers in football costumes were a little much.  I miss MC circa ’94.

After her performance, Carey headed uptown to the Carlyle Hotel where she took to the mic at Bemelmans Bar
