Mariah Carey gave the cameras a smile and a wave before heading into a jewelry store in Aspen, Colorado last night (December 20th). Carey is only one of many stars who flock to the ski town for the holidays, a place where the rich and shameless bust out their fuzzy fur and snowflake leggings.
Carey, wearing a grey cape cinched at the waist with leggings and boots, looked fabulous following a 70-pound weight loss. After giving birth to twins Morocco and Monroe, the legendary singer became Jenny Craig‘s spokeswoman. According to the Daily Mail, Carey and husband Nick Cannon skipped the holidays in Aspen last year for fear that traveling and altitude would have a negative on her pregnancy.
Carey recently joined John Legend in a music video for “When Christmas Comes,” a re-issued song from her original release on last year’s Merry Christmas II You.
Can you believe that “All I Want For Christmas Is You” was released in 1991? Jeepers crow, where has the time gone? “Who’d have thought, all those years ago when I wrote it, that it would still be having an impact today?” Carey said recently.
