Having to put her make-up aside for her role as a homely social worker was a struggle for glamorous pop star, Mariah Carey. She even had a slight mustache in Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire in order to further downplay her appearance.

In an interview with talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, Carey claims she tried to sneak on a little blush here and there during filming, but her efforts were squelched by director Lee Daniels. Ha! It’s high school all over again, isn’t it, Mariah?

Of her look in the movie, Mariah tells Oprah, “This is so ugly, man, I don’t know what to do.” Poor Mimi, you just know she was dying to airbrush that shit–getting the shakes from the Photoshop withdrawals.

Meanwhile, Oprah appears concerned that Maria might whip out her ta-tas at any moment, just to prove that they’re still there and fabulous.
