Dressed in a sexy red dress, Mariah Carey‘s affection for her husband, Nick Cannon, on the red carpet was as red-hot as her outfit. Mimi and Nick were playing host at a special screening of the TeenNick Halo Awards at the Newseum in Washington D.C.

These two are no strangers to public displays of affection, but it looks as if Mariah’s advances proved to be too much for her man. Cannon grimaced as his wife wrapped her arms around him and peppered him with kisses for the benefit of the surrounding paparazzi.

Hmm, is this just an off day for the Emperor and Empress of the Butterfly Nation, or is Nick getting over it?
