A lot of work goes into keeping Mariah Carey looking like the glamorous pop diva that she is, showing up to the World Music Awards in not one, but two slinky dresses alongside hubby Nick Cannon.

There’s her lighting team, wind machine operator, a person whose sole job it is to make sure cameras stay focused on her good side, as well as group of highly-skilled retouchers. But Mariah says her own efforts shouldn’t go unacknowledged.

The Touch My Body singer claims that her pilates and water aerobics workout schedule that spans 7 days a week, along with a strict 1,500 calorie diet keep her in midriff-baring shape.

1,500 calories a day? Even though Mariah admits to sneaking an occasional “morsel” of fried chicken and mac and cheese, wearing that cookie costume must have been torture. It’s a wonder she didn’t end up naked before the night was through. Cause that would have been so shocking.
