Mark Wahlberg visited U.S. troops in Afghanistan before Christmas to show his support at Camp Leatherneck. The Fighter star took time out of his hectic promotion schedule of the film to spend time with U.S. Marines on Dec. 19. Wahlberg in fact played a Marine in his film Three Kings and troops couldn’t have been more excited to meet the star. His appearance included a free screening of The Fighter, for which over 100 soldiers waited in line.
