Mark Salling might not be a fan of the mohawk-style haircut he has to wear in character as Puck on Glee. However, don’t think for a second that the young actor is taking his good casting fortune for granted.

The actor took to YouTube to express his gratitude for his plum role on FOX’s musical series by singing, “There is nowhere I’d rather be than chillin’ on Glee. I want to thank you for making me part of this family.”

Giving his television family a shout-out, the singer croons, “Matt [Morrison]‘s well cast, Lea [Michele] blows me away/I could read a scene with Dianna [Agron] every day,” he croons. “Kevin [McHale] is hilarious, Amber [Riley]‘s got soul/Chris [Colfer] is a great actor, Naya [Rivera]‘s beautiful.”

Who needs promos for the show when the cast is making their own adorable videos like this one?
