Marriage Pressure Split Up Tony Romo & Jessica Simpson

July 22nd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

The National Enquirer is claiming that during the course of their nearly two-year relationship, it was Jessica Simpson‘s pressuring Tony Romo to propose that ultimately caused the demise of their romance.

A snitch claims, “Tony pulled the plug because he couldn’t stand the constant heat Jessica was putting on him to get married.” Reportedly, it was Jessica’s over-the-top Ken and Barbie-themed birthday bash that sparked their final argument. Tony wanted to celebrate the event with a quiet dinner-for-two and finally exploded, allegedly telling her, “I hate this stupid stuff and your whole fake Hollywood life!”

While Jessica is licking her wounds, her family is concerned for her because she fears being judged for going out in public. A family friend tells People, “The family used to have such faith in [Jessica] and they worried about Ashlee [Simpson]. Now they are fully confident in Ashlee’s choices and they worry most of their days about Jessica.”

I’m going to go ahead and put the theory out there that she and Nick Paves get back together.
