Mary J. Blige Wishes Kanye West & Whitney Houston Drama-Free Lives

September 17th, 2009 // Leave a Comment

No stranger to turbulent times, R&B artist Mary J. Blige is speaking out about Kanye West‘s now infamous antics on stage at last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Blige tells Us Weekly, “I love Kayne, and I wish the best for him.” The “No More Drama” singer adds, “I pray that whatever’s going on with him, he deals with it.”

Meanwhile, Mary couldn’t be more excited about the way that Whitney Houston’s comeback is going. Blige says she’s “super happy” for Houston. Blige said of Whitney’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, “Go, Whitney! She was honest, and that’s what I love!”

Then, Mary leaned over and fixed a scuff on her shoe with a black Sharpie. Cause Mary’s real like that and that’s why we love her.
