Just earlier today, laid-back Matthew McConaughey was enjoying a leisurely stroll on the beach with his son Levi and girlfriend Camila Alves.

Even though the Texas actor blew off the Oscars to hang out in Brazil, he made a point to make it to this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. I’m guessing it’s because they told him it would be OK to wear his jeans and old cowboy boots. Otherwise, this musically-inclined beach bum would still be surfing.
