Wow. You’d think that this was some big charity gala or film premiere, but no, it was a fricking mall opening. The Lumber Jack mall opening event brought out the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Camilla Alves, Steven Strait, Marla Maples, Victoria Principal, Tracey Bregman, Lauralee Bell, Minnie Driver, Daniel Stern, David Fosger, Colin Egglesfield, Garcelle Beauvais Nilon, Roma Downey, Mark Burnett, Holly Robinson Peete, Robin Antin, Debbie Matenopoulos, Suzanne Somers, John McGinley, Terri Seymour, Vanessa Minnillo, Mena Suvari, Jason Seahorn, Poppy Montgomery, Angie Harmon, Jeremy Piven, Rick Hilton, Kathy Hilton, Lake Bell, Jewel, Natasha Bedingfield, Brooke Burns, Samaire Armstrong, Eliza Dushku, Kelly Carlson, Anthony Kiedis and Lacey Chabert.

Unbelievable how Matthew wasted his career on one date movie after another.
He looks completely toasted in the advertisements in the latest ones with Jennifer Garner. (Is it just me or has his face been looking totally bloated? Thats a sign of overdrinking.)
Plus whoever made him the face of Dolce & Gabanna should be fired. He has zero style. But they made him the face of a leading fashion line anyway!

Matthew was in one good movie, A Time to Kill. Oh and Amistad wasn’t that bad. He’s good in serious roles but he seems to have kept to romantic comedies because that’s what he’s okay at. He makes the money doing it. Hopefully he makes at least one more good movie before he retires.
Malibu is a very small close knit community where not much goes on. And just like any town, the opening of a new store is news. Celebs are real people, caring about their community, the local news, etc.
