There was tons of glamour on the red carpet yesterday (December 7, 2012) at the 7th Annual March of Dimes Celebration of Babies, a Hollywood Luncheon, at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
New mom Reese Witherspoon was honored by March of Dimes with the Grace Kelly award for being a model celebrity parent. Regarding the birth of her new son Tennessee, Reese said:
“I was very lucky to have a healthy delivery and leave the hospital with a healthy full term infant, but so many families in this country do not get that experience.”
She added that she hopes her involvement with March of Dimes calls attention to its efforts to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
In her first interview since giving birth, Fox tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “It changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby.
“I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified. So that will deter me from making some of the choices I made before.”
Sorry guys, she’s keeping her clothes on.
