Remember when Mel Gibson got arrested for drinking and driving way back in 2006? Well, the Los Angeles police officer who leaked information about the incident will not face charges, due to lack of proof.

Deputy Sheriff James Mee was accused of make public details about the case, which include reports of Gibson’s now infamous anti-Semitic and sexist rant. However, prosecutors claim a lack of proof is keeping them from pressing charges.

As for Mel, he’s back to work, filming a new movie with Jodie Foster called The Beaver. The two movie stars sat down to a lovely dinner scene together. And yes, that’s a beaver puppet on Mel’s hand. And no, you don’t want to know why.
