Mel Gibson‘s agent, WME, dropped him last week. Not because he’s an asshole douchebag, but as a result of his asshole douchbaggery – no one else would go near him, meaning there’s no money to be made off of him.

Despite hints in the past that Gibson was a Holocaust denier, and despite his sexist and anti-Semitic outburst after his 2006 arrest, few in the industry publicly denounced him, with the exceptions including Sony Pictures chairman Amy Pascal.

Another studio chief said, “I wouldn’t make a movie with him if he were the last actor on the planet. There were five minutes when we were saying, ‘Maybe we should give this guy a break,’ and that’s gone. No one will touch him.”

PS: He’s just Mel Gibson…was he ever amazing in anything? I mean, he’s never been a stellar actor or performer, he does action comedies and aren’t people who fill those roles a dime a dozen? Pretty sure you can find someone younger and smarter now. Which is what they want anyway to get butts in seats.

So over this whole thing. He just go into exile after this.
