OK, so the woman with the first name Oksana, who is rumored to be involved in a romantic relationship with Mel Gibson is actually Oksana Grigorieva, according to People magazine. There was some confusion initially because as soon as the news broke, 24-year-old Russian pop star Oksana Pochepa announced to press that she was the woman dating the actor/director.

The enterprising young singer told The Sun, “This is serious and I hope that our union will be real and strong and long-lasting.” I’m guessing she was referring to the publicity created by “confessing” her relationship with Gibson. Well-played, my dear. It seems we may have underestimated you.

Of course, that doesn’t appear to be the case. The real Oksana in question is the 39-year-old former girlfriend of James Bond star Timothy Dalton, with whom she has a son. Grigorieva’s former agent revealed to People, “She was always very discreet about her personal business.” So yeah, I don’t guess we should hold our breath for her to “confess” their love.
