The break-up of Eddie Murphy and former Spice Girl, Mel B. has escalated into a full-out battle. In case you haven’t heard, Eddie’s all, “Um, I’m not your baby-daddy.” And Mel’s all, “Um, but I say you are.” And the back and forth continues, according to TheBosh.com, which states that a source revealed Eddie hired a detective to catch Mel in the act of cheating.

The insider said, “Eddie had his suspicions that Mel was becoming close to a guy he knows. He was furious when he saw the pictures. It does on the face of it seem spiteful to now doubt that he’s the father of the baby, but as far as he is concerned he’s been humiliated too. He is just evening the scores.” Despite the findings of Murphy’s detective, Brown is standing by her claim that the child is Murphy’s. She answered back, “Is that the best they can throw at me?”

I’m still so confused as to what it is Mel B. even does now that she’s a “former” Spice Girl. Apparently, she’s still pretty fertile. I guess that’s gotta count for something.
