Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has given birth to a new baby girl. The baby girl was born at 12:11am at St John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California.

A spokeswoman for the singer said in a statement to the press: “The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. Mother and baby are now resting.

“No name has been decided on as yet, and she is purely known as Baby Brown.”

The 31 year old has insisted Eddie is the father. However, the actor has claimed otherwise and has demanded a blood test.

According to People magazine, Eddie told Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard back in December: “I don’t know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test.”

This is Melanie Brown’s second child, and could be the extremely fertile Eddie Murphy’s eighth child.
