Coldplay‘s Chris Martin and his fellow bandmates dressed up for the evening in military-style jackets in colors that made me think the Teletubbies had joined the military.

The often floppy-looking John Mayer was looking uncharacteristically sleek and sophisticated with his clean-cut haircut and silk suit. Jennifer Aniston is totally dressing him now.

Both Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z were unsurprisingly elegant in their suits. These guys rarely hit the red carpet without a tux on, even if they plan on changing into expensive jeans and tennis shoes later on to perform and I can’t help but love that about them.
