It seemingly was a fan favorite only until this year at the Golden Globes when Dexter started winning awards, for both star Michael C. Hall and guest-star John Lithgow. However, the Emmy’s are another story.
And while having an Emmy would be nice, Hall says that it’s not crucial to win – but it feels great to be nominated over and over again. Check out his interview with Zap2It after the jump!
In addition to starring on the show, Hall is also an executive producer and says that an award for Outstanding Drama would mean more than any acting accolades.
The 2010 Emmy Awards air live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET this Sunday, Aug. 29 and we’ll be covering the red carpet and the show!

I love Dexter the show is awesome and I think that Michael C. Hall should win an Emmy he is an awesome actor, he was great in Six Feet Under and he is equally if not more so in Dexter. I always pay close attention to award time in the hopes he wins. Good Luck Michael.. and looking forward to more Dexter!
