Jackson appeared pleased by the warm reception, smiling and waving at fans. He signed autographs and shook hands before departing in a minibus. When Michael and his children arrived in the West End the hysteria continued, with the audience members filming the crowd on their mobile phones.
The youngest two of Jackson’s three children – seven-year-old Prince Michael II (known as Blanket) and 11-year-old Paris, hid their faces as they were escorted through the crowd.
