Michelle Williams attended a the screening of Meek’s Cutoff, a film about settlers who find themselves weathering harsh conditions while traveling through the Oregon desert in 1845 (think a losing game of The Oregon Trail).  The film has been very well-received at various film festivals including Venice and Toronto, and opens April 8th.

The screening was put on last night by the Cinema Society & Nancy Gonzalez in New York City.  Williams arrived in a cream Chanel shift, topped off with sequined black cap sleeves and paired with Ferragamo heels. In Style U.K. loved the simple look, and I can’t disagree with them.  It suited Williams well.
