Va va vom! Actress Michelle Williams hit the red carpet for her film Meek’s Cutoff for the premiere during the 67th Venice Film Festival at the Sala Grande Palazzo Del Cinema on September 5, 2010 in Venice, Italy.
The film is based on the true story of Stephen Meek, a guide who led a group of settlers into the desert only to get lost in an area where there was no water.
Michelle anchors the ensemble with a performance of fierce grit and unflinching moral strength, staring down Meek (Bruce Greenwood) and firing a rifle with the same bone-deep conviction.
Williams’ next film to be released stateside will be Blue Valentine which co-stars rumored boyfriend Ryan Gosling. That film is set to be released on December 26, 2010.
