We totally just made fun of Mickey Rourke for striking out with Sharon Stone (who was rightfully busy with an 18-year-old) when this tasty news item appeared.
Apparently, Mickey Rourke and Courtney Love are dating. Mickey asked her out around the time of the Golden Globes and the pair have been secretly rendezvousing since then. While normally we’d wonder at the sanity level of anyone who thinks : “Hm, you know, that Courtney Love seems like girlfriend material” but Mickey and Courtney somehow make perfect sense.
It’s actually brilliant. This is a major upgrade from Bai Ling or Evan Rachel Wood. Courtney and Mickey actually have tons in common. They’re both a little cock-eyed, greasy and riding the high of recent award wins. Sure, hers is and Elle UK Woman of the Year (?) and he’s pocketed a BAFTA, Golden Globe and possibly an Oscar, but this ain’t a pissing contest. They’re both winners!
