Mickey Rourke is kind of a crazy, misshapen bitch and getting nods for his acting in The Wrestler has caused him to have one of his sanity strokelets again. Both Rourke and Sean Penn are reportedly Oscar contenders for their work in Milk and The Wrestler. The monster-looking dude reportedly sent a text out to an “entertainment honcho” saying Penn’s performance in Milk wasn’t anything to crow about and that Sean Penn is actually a homophobe.
Keep in mind that Rourke has been caught dropping the “f-word” (rhymes with “maggot”) recently in public so what in the silly-putty-face-extended-to-his-brain hell is this dude talking about?
“Look seans an old friend of mine and i didnt buy his performance at
all–thought he did an average pretend acting like he was gay besides
hes one of the most homophobic people i kno,” The Daily Beast reports Rourke texted. Where’s the “w?”
Rourke’s people (who probably keep a Taser in the office in case of emergency) deny the story.
“There is no Oscar feud between Mickey and Sean. They have known each
other and been friends for a very long time. Mickey attended the New
York premiere of Milk to support Sean and only has the greatest respect for him.” The rep adds that Rourke is “completely unaware of the text.”
There seems to be quite a few things Rourke is unaware of.

Forget about these two. The guy from Nixon/Frost should get it, that was an EXELLENT movie and performance. Best in years!

Please, some horseshit gossip site reports this, and we’re all suppose to believe it? Complete BS, Penn even put Rourke in his film THE PLEDGE and there is actual VIDEO on youtube of Rourke leaving the premiere of MILK and saying he loved it. Nice try.
