Miley Cyrus may seem squeaky clean, but she still goes behind her parents’ backs like any normal kid.
The ‘Hannah Montana’ star will turn 16 in November, and she has already started studying to get her license and a little more freedom from her strict mom and dad. Billy Ray and Tish have firmly decided that Miley will not get an expensive car to drive.
Miley, on the other hand, has fallen for a Porche 911 Turbo – which costs over $125,000. She even has met with a car salesman who deals in exotic cars.
According to a friend of the star, ‘Miley is getting older now and wants to spend her money any way she wants. She is so confident that she’ll be able to buy herself a Porsche when she turns 16 that she’s already shopping for the car.’
If I were Billy Ray, I think I would be okay with the nice car. She’s already earned the money to buy it. But just think, if Miley has a car that stands out the paps will ALWAYS be able to find her. There are concerns about the danger they cause, but at least you would always have documentation of where your daughter is at all times!

Good for her. She’s worked her ass off and she deserves to have a nice car for her birthday. I personally think she should go with a nice car but with a smaller engine. I bought myself an Audi TT 2.0 Roadster last year for my 18th and I think that’s very sufficient.
A few of my friends have had V8s and V12s and most of them are scrap metal now after being wrapped around boles.

and its better to have strict parents with loads of supervision at least until your 18,then not having parents who don´t care and don´t supervise and stuff possibly happening at 12 or 13, or whatever… kids just don´t appreciate the parents.
as for the car, why a porche!? its so flashy, why not something simpler.

I think that miley can do what she wants with her money, but I also think that she should talk it over with her parents first. she may not like it, but her parents know best. Sorry, but “okay with the nice car”? Someone obviously doesn’t know cars. Do you realize that the 911 Turbo has 480hp and goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds? NO first time driver, yet alone a girl in her position, would be safe with a car that powerful. If she must have a Porsche, a Boxster or Cayman would be more than enough for her with 245hp and a 5.8 second 0-60 time. Even that would be quite dangerous for her. Regardless, I don’t believe it’s legal for a car dealership to sell directly to someone under 18 without the parents playing a role in the purchase.
