Miley Cyrus has got another movie especially for her. Variety reports that Disney has gotten the screen rights to the bestselling young adult novel Wings by Aprilynne Pike, which they are developing for Miley.

The film has Miley playing Laurel, a 15-year-old girl who lives a sheltered life in a small town. When she begins to attend a large high school, she realizes she’s not like other kids her age when she grows a pair of wings and finds out she’s a fairy. Yup, that’s not a normal day, is it?

Miley is currently in the middle of shooting the film version of the Nicholas Spark’s novel The Last Song, which he wrote with Miley in mind for the lead role. She’s been quite the busy bee lately what with more provocative photos and Twittering about her favorite books.

I guess that Wings could be interesting. Anyone read it? Apparently it’s only book one in a series of four. I think Miley’s going to be working with Disney for a long time to come. Or at least till the four movies are made.
